Russia-When I asked for alliance you trusted me? And what was your reaction?

Hi Slovakia. If you're asking about a strategic move that I made by myself. Well a strategy that I had going on from the beginning was that even though I wanted to be a strong competitor, I still wanted to remain low-key and under the radar in the game, cause I think if you're both a strong competitor and are beyond active in the board, you will be seen as a future threat. So I had a strategy to just remain low-key several times, and I think it did work. Nobody saw me as a threat at certain points, nobody worried about what Mexico was gonna do.

Now if you're asking about a strategic move I made IN the game by myself, it would probably be the night Norway got voted out. Like I explained in the "Norway's questions" thread, that vote was supposed to be a tie (You, myself & Russia for Norway, and Egypt, China & Norway for Russia). However, Egypt then sent me a PM stating that himself and I were in the chopping block. So in order to get that one extra vote we needed, I told him that the only way to "save us" was to vote out Norway, because it was the only name brought up that night. And yes indeed Norway was sent packing 4-2.

Since I'm being completely honest, No, I did not trust you at first. Specifically since the 6th Tribal Council when there were votes for me, a self vote for Australia, one vote for you, and one vote for Guatemala. Which meant you voted for me. However, you were true from then on and voted with me for the rest of the game. I did plan on bringing you to the F4 or even F3, but then you got voted out earlier than I expected.

When you first asked me for an alliance, I was skeptical, but I realized a potential asset when I saw one, so I took you up on your offer, but wanted to see how you proceeded.
